Tim O’Shea is an academic support specialist and dean of students at West Edgecombe Middle School, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He graduated from Monmouth University with a bachelor’s degree in history and education. He holds an MSEd from Johns Hopkins University and an administrative license from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Tim began his career as a teacher through Teach for America, where he quickly learned the importance of meeting students where they are, revamping the educational experience, and promoting scholar agency to help drive intrinsic success in the classroom.
