A 88ft commercial and French flagged MY is looking for an professional and experienced captain to start asap.

The position offered is permanent and will run with 2 crew during the winter and then during the busy summer months a stewardess/cook will join.

The yacht has a home berth in the South of France and will cruise locally and to Sardenia and Corsica for the summer months with guests.

The ideal candidate should have good charter experience and at least 2 years as captain or 3 years plus as a mate and looking for first captain position. Ideally you should have good skills in engineering also. Master 200t and AEC certification are preferred by client.

Would suit a captain based on the coast with valid drivers licence too. You must be legal to work in France or hold a French passport. You should be well presented with a positive and friendly character, lead the team and also work within the team too.
